Today marks a very significant day for me…I cut up my credit card. This is because I ended up spending about 550 bucks on the credit card due to a small issue I had w/ balancing my checkbook this week. It totally set me back but I’m over it now and starting again at the long journey out of debt…I’m going to be moving next month… hopefully to a cheaper apt. I did get hired for a second job but at the last minute decided against it as it seemed like it would be too much work and all around….a bad idea. So that is that… Now…. here’s to a new start

I think what you did was great. We should all cut up out credit cards!! They are the easiest way to get in debt fast. I personally don’t own a real credit card for that exact reason. I do however have a pre-paid credit card that I just add money to when ever I need to purchase something online or I go on a trip. Its better then carrying the cash around. Having a second job sometimes is hard, and stressful on your body I think you made the right decision on that as well. Good luck in the future!!
