I ran 1 mile with a friend today. She may have kept me from losing it. I was tempted to say I couldn’t go because I have two papers to write, but I didn’t. I went and ran, and then I sat in a coffee shop for 3 hours and worked on a paper. Not done yet, but feeling like I made a good dent. I took a two hour break for walking home and running errands. Now I’m back at it again. Technically this entry is also about many of my goals…getting my masters degree, being on time, and also not procrastinating, but rather finding balance.

Good for you!!
Good for you!! If this is a skill you want to continue with you have made an excellent start. I would thank your friend for the encouragement that they have provided to keep your going with this. Practice is a great thing... the more you practice the farther you will be able to go and possible run even faster than before. Soon you will be in marathons for personal reasons or for charity!! I hope you continue with this and become everything you want to be in life. Because this takes hard work and discipline this is an excellent skill to add to an interview.
