Piano lessons

When I was 9 years old, I began taking piano lessons, and I went to a music school until I was 13. Then I stopped going. I really hated it. Now I realize the reason I hated it is because I was pushed and made to feel like it was a chore, not the incredible skill and talent it is. I would like to take lessons again, of my own free will. Do you think I should spend my money on this or find another hobby?

Look around

I think you should focus on finding another hobby. With the bad experience that you had the first time will keep haunting you during your practices. This will make it harder for you to focus and learn. Find a hobby that doesn’t have such a history in your life, especially one that does not bring up such bad times from your childhood. This is just my opinion; I tend to keep away from things that make me think of bad experiences. However this decision can only be made by you. Just think long and hard about it before spending your hard earned money.
