I was able to quit drinking all pop/soda for an entire month (March 2007), but still have it every now and then. This includes Pepsi, Coke, Sprite, as well as Red Bull and Powerade. I think it’s time to quit for good Did you know that the fizz in soda streaches your stomach so you end up eating more!! My commitment is to have no soda for the rest of May. I will do this by drinking water or flavored water in place of the soda. Besides water is better for you, especially in the summer heat

Comments on Say no to Soda!!
i dont drink much soda either
I’m not supposed to drink any soda either... but as the saying goes you want what you can’t have. I had a stomach bi-pass a year ago and one of the rules is no soda. This is because of what you mentioned the fizz causes the stomach to stretch leading to having to eat more. Now I can drink it once in a while but I do have times where I will try to drink it and it taste nasty because my system is not use to it anymore. I would advise that you continue to try to say no to soda. You will feel better and healthy once this goal is successful.
