One of my friends let her 6th grade son have the choice of either going home and staying with Grandma (who lives with them), or to stay with her (at her mom's house). If she went to pick him up considering the traffic it would be very late. So she let him take the bus to her work, 2 transfers (3 different buses) in about 2 hours. Facts: (1) her son takes the bus home a lot, but only one without transfer. He knows the stuff. (2) She wrote out everything, including time/bus #/station names/even @ which corner of intersection. (3) School was done 3 pm. It's bright until 7 pm Another mom heard about this and called her and gave her crap (someone she hardly knew). "Next time you need to call ME to help!” Should she have let him take the bus or not?
