I’m going out to dinner and don’t know who pays if we are just friends do I pay or do they this is a same sex dinner. The word “Dutch” wasn’t used so I don’t have a clue. I don’t want to be a bad person and make my friend pay. Also I don’t want them to feel bad by paying then have them tell me later that they felt that I was suggesting that I had more money then them. The paying part should gently be cleared up before going out. So should I let my friend pay and then take them out again and I pay to make it even or should I just pay the bill and see what happens after?
