I am now in graduate school, and am hoping she will move in and we can live together like a proper couple (up until now we have lived together and been long-distance off and on). But she is resistant. She assures me that she doesn't want to be with anyone else but me, and wants me for her life partner, but that she first has to develop more time to 'figuring herself out,' and that she doesn't feel ready to be married or in a serious relationship. When I think back, this issue has come up several times in the past four years. We have spent about half that time apart (long-distance), and when we have lived together, she was always resistant at first. When we are together, it is great. But she still has this hesitation.
